Monitoring - On Aug 9th, 2020, beginning around 16:00 UTC, one of Dyn's upstream transit providers began performing emergency maintenance on their infrastructure in Sao Paulo, Brazil. No impact to Dyn Managed DNS Nameservers or peripheral infrastructure is expected, although some users may experience additional DNS query latency as traffic is routed to other paths.

Oracle strives to provide best-in-class products and services to meet and exceed our customers’ needs throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle. Because of the resources required to build and support emerging products and solutions, we occasionally need to retire older products and discontinue their support.

On May 31, 2020, our Oracle Dyn China Nameserver Infrastructure will be retired. Any customer still utilizing our China Nameservers after this date will experience DNS resolution failures as a result of this change. Customers should complete DNS migration away from the China Nameservers before May 31, 2020 to avoid downtime.

No impact is expected to any other Oracle Dyn product, including Managed DNS Nameservers, as a result of this change.

Please ensure that all appropriate contacts in your company are made aware of this notice. If you are using our China Nameserver service and have not been in communication with our internal teams, please reach out to our Product Support Team for assistance.

On August 17th, 2020, between 10:00 UTC and 17:00 UTC, we will be performing a routine release to the Web Application Security core Suite.

On Monday, August 17, 2020, between 19:00 and 20:00 UTC, we will be releasing version 5.2.61 of our Dyn Managed DNS platform to production.

Once complete, changes from this release will be published in our change log along with the previous releases.
